We are specialized in restoration and in finishing of iron old beds: we use both nacre decorations and applications, and wrought iron ornaments. We pay special attention to retrieve and recuperate missing parts with original pieces (brass or other material knobs, nacre, mounting rails, etc.).
We restore iron beds. Our collaborators are very expert in the elaborate work of restoration of beds also by inserting painted panels.
After the restoration of the frame of the bed, they retrieve the painting. First they wash it, then they clean it using special solvents without damaging neither the painting nor the false briar root, that is a typicality of these types of bed.
So they retouch the false briar root or the background of the panel, the golden decorations and the painting. At last they polish, fix and protect the panel using transparent suitable products.
We also make the restoration of nearly inexistent or poorly preserved panels.
